Bobbys Downtown in Fairbanks

Great good and even better service. Loved the halibut and veggies were very fresh. Prepared to be light yet flavorful. Going again next trip to Fairbanks.

Almost walked out due to sticker shock. $20 for a gyro and it just goes up from there. The warm bar rail enticed me to stay and place an order. I'm glad I did. Delicious food. You get what you pay for. You know it's authentic when they have this guy at the bar filled with brandy.

Bobby is from Greece, and knows his food. The Gyro was outstanding.Coworker had the baked spaghetti. Both plates nothing was left.

Outstanding service from Abby and always fun visiting with locals including the owner, Bobby and Reanna. They greet you with a smile and a story. Thanks for making us feel like part of the family. Sit in the bar and enjoy!

Everytime we visit we are very pleased with the food and the service. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive. He timed our entrees perfectly after our appetizer. The atmosphere is perfectly intimate. My husband and I agree we have always received delicious food when we go.

I needed a place to go for a healthy dinner. I've become interested in Mediterranean cooking myself.

I wound rate this as the second best place to eat in Fairbanks. Everything is perfect and tasty. Service is what you would expect from 4+ dining. Why are they not number one you may ask? The help. They just dont have the repeat servers you would find at the best restaurant in Fairbanks.

The owners confronted me for complaining about a ny steak with fat on it, very rubberish, they didnt even ask to replace it, and both owner and manager told me I was 86'd before but I was in fact not, they now tell me I'm 86'd my friend was with me and I suggested the place, they are usually good to me and my friends &family who pay good money

Food was so amazing and they were so nice!!!! We got the Greek pizza and hummus which comes with pita bread! Sooo good

Have tried every Italian restaurant in town because I love Italian food. This place is Greek but about as close as we could get and first time there it was amazing! Great portion sizes for price and food was great! Service was top notch. Bobby's haf such a relaxing atmosphere. One thing I have to comment on is their bathrooms. Yes I said bathrooms. I walked in to a big room with a small couch long mirror and another vanity with mirror and there were 3 small separate bathrooms, each with a toilet, trash, huge sink and a small seat. This is great for breastfeeding mothers who may want more privacy and having a seat in each one makes it more comfortable (wish I had this when my kids were little). Hands down the best restaurant we have eaten so far!!

The food was delicious and the staff was really nice. The chef even came out to see if everything was good. I thought that was a nice touch.

Lovely restaurant, lovely staff and an amazing owner. The menu offers a wide array of Greek food and Greek adapted American dishes. Not to mention the adept decor, authenticity and amazing sense of place.

We liked the saganaki, lamb souvlaki, and garlic shrimp. We weren't fans of the melitzano (eggplant dip). Large portions, we'll see how it tastes leftover 😁.

Had party of 9, took an hour and a half to get our appetizers and salads and a refill on drinks. They must have been short staffed in the kitchen. One family in our group had to get their food to go because the children had to go to bed. Never had a bad experience other than this.

Higher in price, but if you're looking for a classy dining establishment with an excellent menu, I cannot recommend anywhere else. I personally hope that you try the lamb chops. They will change your life.

Very good Greek food here at Bobby's, and this is coming from a Greek. My wife and I are visiting and found this place and we're glad we did. We began with a salad and hummus and both were very good. I ordered the Halibut and it was cooked perfectly and had a hint of lemon. My wife ordered the pork souvlaki and it was excellent. We ended up sharing each others entrees.Highly recommend this place if you're in the Fairbanks area.

Friendly people and pleasant atmosphere, the food is terrific.

This is one of my favorite places to go. No matter what I’ve ordered it is always very flavorful and well priced. It is not a diner style restaurant, you get what you pay for. I have come to know the owners and I have always observed them, along with their staff, treating everyone well. The restaurant is always clean and fabulously decorated. There is ample parking and the hours are very accommodating. We always have a great time at Bobby’s!

Amazing service and excellent atmosphere. Ordered the Steak Oscar and the meat was cooked to perfection, but was lacking any flavor. The bearnaise sauce masked the flavor of the crab cake as well. Baklava tasted overly like nutmeg. Overall good experience.

Always love the drinks (lemon drops are the best here), the food (my go to is a Gryo with lemon potatoes and sweet carrots and delicious dolmades), and the lovely atmosphere. Bobby the owner is the best host and his sister Rena hostess supreme. Beautiful clean restrooms seem like something strange to love about this place, but ladies you won't be disappointed when it comes time to freshen up.

Bobby's is elegant and wonderful and friendly and a place worth recommending. Food is excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Tastefully decorated and perfectly located.

Food was honestly pretty dreadful, given the price. For how expensive the food is, it was bland, over cooked, no seasoning.

Wow! Hands down the best pizza that I've ever had. Super friendly wait staff from the waitress to the bus boy to the manager serving the pizza. We decided to stay for dessert and ordered the chocolate mousse and we were so glad that we did. It was delicious, light, airy and definitely homemade! Yum!!!!

The food and service were excellent, Samantha and Christian were pleasant and engaging. I enjoyed the lamb chops, (never had lamb before) but the tables felt a little close together for my taste and conversations kept spilling over from other diners.

Food was delicious. Had the gyro. Tried a slice of the meat lovers pizza and it was delicious too. Very nice looking. The bar looks great. Moscow mules were tasty (not in actual copper cups though).

Bobby's is a good place to experience Mediterranean cuisine. Fresh, cool, and crisp vegetables; Vibrant color and clean flavor are the typical description of Mediterranean dishes. This place delivered! Most entrees on the menu include leafy herbs and vegetables. Bobby's recipes use powerful herbs and spices that encourage you to eliminate salt. Bobby's is proof that vegetables are not boring and encourage a healthy diet. The American Heart Association endorses a Mediterranean diet; olive oil, green leafy herbs, nuts, and vegetables. Stick with the Greek entrees and you will be rewarded with a Mediterranean delight. Stay away from the calamari. There are other restaurants that prepare it better. Bobby's chefs, please stick with what you are known for...Greek food. Last note, prices reflect more of an Alaskan king crab or lobster dinner, meaning it is expensive. Be prepared to pay a VERY premium price, as Bobby's believe their food is worth it.

Extremely long wait time for food. Waited over an hour to get salads and appetizers and then another 30-40 minutes for our main course. Out waitress was nice and friendly but overall a disappointing experience when your spending a lot of money on food that then has to be put in a to-go box because you have kids that can’t stand to sit at the table any longer.

Spanokopita was great! Garlic Shrimp yummy! Steak oscar special was very good! Love the atmosphere, very friendly, felt very welcome, like a neighborhood pub.

This is my favorite place to dine in fairbanks. The owner is amazing, if hes not out on the floor socializing with his customers and making sure they are happy, hes in the kitchen himself; making the best food in fairbanks. My ultimate favorite is the crab stuffed avocados 🤤

The food was nice, we weren't big fans of the potatoes but the flavors on the pizza, lamb, gyros were great! The service was also great.

Absolutely fantastic service. Every employee was kind, both owners stopped by to ask how we were doing. The food was delicious! I had the Halibut and my girlfriend had the Garlic Prawns. We will be going back!

We had dinner last night at Bobby’s. The FOOD was AMAZING! Brian was our server and he was AMAZING! Bobby came out to us, greeted us before we were even seated! Our grandson enjoyed the calamari and Bobby even stopped for a moment to talk our baby boy, he truly loved the calamari and for being 3 it shocked us that HE dug into the Calamari. Everything was just absolutely AMAZING! Thank you for the WONDERFUL service! Everything was SPOT on! Highly recommend

Hummus appetizer was delicious, as was the gyro and baked spaghetti. The service was great and the womens restroom was very neat and clean! Highly recommend this place.

Bobby's is phenominal. Their Reuben sandwich is best I have ever had.When people want to know where to go in the Tanana Valley, I always tell them Bobbys, and they are never disappointed.

Great atmosphere, on the more expensive side, but so worth it as far as big portions and great quality! Literally felt like Zeus delivered the food fresh from Mount Olympus.
